Dr Yann Hautier

Dr. Yann Hautier is our ecological theory expert currently furthering research on the subject as an assistant professor in Ecology and Biodiversity at Utrecht University. He is regarded as one of the most informed sources on our current understanding of the mechanisms behind plant and soil organisms interactions. He uses advanced statistical analysis and data synthesis to pick apart the data that exists to test concepts and advance our understanding to better provide guidance on the conservation of biodiversity on local, regional, and global scales. He has performed research at leading institutions, including the University of Zurich, the University of Minnesota, and Oxford, and he participates in several prominent international collaboration projects to gain hands on validation of his theories about impacts on the functioning of the environment around the world.
