MicraCulture is a micra-business, owned and operated by Dr. Sarah Pellkofer in Seattle, Washington since 2015!
Sarah conceived the idea for MicraCulture during her PhD work, studying how the living things in soil affect plants and environment. She found, after running years of experiments, that by adding specific species of fungi and bacteria to the soil (ones that are present in healthy, natural soil, but are often absent in manicured gardens), plants grew better, used water more efficiently, they were protected from harmful pathogens and disease, and even the amount of soil pollutants was reduced! Sarah knew that she had to start a business to give the benefits of soil microbes to everyday gardeners and help bring the soil back to life, one yard at a time. Sarah's proprietary mix of a superstar set of soil microbes in Plant Probiotics, is made of the best natural and native species of fungi and bacteria and is based on countless experiments. Sarah handcrafts all MicraCulture orders locally to ensure only the highest quality live soil boosters make it into your garden. Sarah's latest publication and her PhD dissertation. MicraCulture LLC is a Certified Green Business. |
